The story of asset-based interventions and their links to mental health in Sherbrooke, Canada with Professor Paul Morin
IRISS is pleased to host a morning with Paul Morin, Professor of Social Work at Sherbrooke University (Quebec, Canada).
Paul has a wealth of knowledge and experience about how assets-based approaches have been used for a variety of different purposes across different settings e.g. in Kansas, Quebec and Italy. Paul’s most recent research in this area has focused on neighbourhood interventions and their links to mental health.
In this two-hour long dialogue session, Paul will present the findings from his research, and will open up discussion to the broader audience to hear their experiences, questions and thoughts on the approach and implications for their use in Scotland.
This event is open to all and it is free to attend although registration is essential as places are limited.
