Latest on the review of respite services project

15 Aug, 2011 by Michelle Drumm

The IRISS review of respite services project is currently in its third stage of development, which involves the circulation of a survey to carers on their experiences of respite care and short break services. IRISS, Shared Care Scotland, Coalition of Carers in Scotland and Mecopp are collaborating to take this stage forward.

Stages one and two have been completed and the results published by Reid Howie Associates and Shared Care Scotland in the It’s About Time report (November 2010).

The research will be of interest to short break service providers, particularly those making efforts to continually improve their services in response to changing needs and expectations.
