My role at IRISS, and my passion, is around improving outcomes for individuals and communities through better use of evidence.
I am keen to ensure that social service stakeholders maximise the potential that evidence, and the processes of producing evidence, can offer for improving lives. Our evidence-informed practice webpage will provide you with information and details about the programme I lead.
As well as directly supporting the use of evidence I reflect and write about issues around evidence use, research impact and knowledge brokerage. My written work on these topics can be viewed at: http://iriss.academia.edu/clairelightowler.
If you are so inclined you can follow me on twitter, which I generally use infrequently during events to record what is being said and reflect on this: https://twitter.com/c_lightowler.
I am very happy to discuss any of these issues so if you would like to do so please don't hesitate to contact me in one way or another.
