The NHS Near Me team in partnership with Scottish Government is inviting applicants to join its improvement programme, which aims to support the effective and sustainable use of Near Me video calling in duty and out of hours social work.
Up to £30K funding per organisation is available for local senior leadership and project/admin support. National improvement and project support is included.
The initial focus will be on developing and testing processes that will support duty social work and inform local scale-up. Recognising that duty is core business for social work, it presents an opportunity for use by a broad range of staff. This will provide a sufficient volume of calls to build confidence and competence and realise the benefits of easy to use video calling.
