Katie works with the team to analyse the data on social services across Scotland to provide meaningful insight to the current state of play of social work/social care, as well as the current challenges and good practices from the sector.
Katie's work is informed by her previous work in social research where she particularly looked at how to reduce economic, (mental) health, gender and racial inequalities and barriers for individuals through primary and secondary research. These projects brought together a range of experiences and views from individuals with lived experience, people working in front line services, as well as with stakeholders from local authorities, national governments and EU institutions.
