Rural social work: what it is and why it's unique

A webinar that provides an opportunity to discuss the unique potential of rural social work, the opportunities it brings, and just why it is worthy of celebration. Taking account of issues arising from the pandemic, it offers another opportunity to revisit the presentation to the Celebrating Rural Social Work conference in March 2020 that outlined the basics about rural social work.

Speakers include Jane Pye, a senior teaching associate from the University of Lancaster; and Colin Turbett, an island-based practitioner in Scotland for many years who has authored various published works, including the Iriss Insight, Rural social work in Scotland.
