An introduction to Chronic Disorganisation and Hoarding - for professionals

In collaboration with Hoarding Academy, the Hoarding Taskforce and Iriss are hosting a lunchtime learning session presenting an introduction to hoarding and chronic disorganisation.

These sessions will introduce hoarding disorder and chronic disorganisation, and will offer some guidance on if, when and how a support intervention is needed and where you can find more information and resources. The sessions will also give a short introduction to the work of the Hoarding Taskforce, a multi-agency group that is working towards a more connected support response in Scotland for hoarding.

This webinar is open to all social work, social care and multi-agency partners in Scotland who might interact with people with chronic disorganisation or hoarding behaviours. Your local council, Health and Social Care Partnership, or employer, may have specific guidance around hoarding in relation to your field of work, or for example, in relation to escalating Adult Support and Protection, or Child Protection concerns. This webinar talks about hoarding and chronic disorganisation more broadly as an introduction to the subject.

This webinar is specifically designed for people who may experience these issues in a professional context. We are runnning a seperate event for for people with living experience, family, friends and carers of people who may be affected by hoarding and chronic disorganisation.
