Social Work Scotland Conference

The Social Work Scotland Annual Conference and Exhibition is being held on 12 and 13 June at the Crieff Hydro.

The theme for 2019 - Rights, relationships and recognition - will aim to profile how the core values of social work, with its commitment to social justice, human rights and relationships, are now at the centre of Scotland’s public policy. It recognises the contribution that social workers are making every day, at all levels of an increasingly integrated service landscape, to safeguarding the interests of individuals and communities. It will also explore how strengths-based approaches to change can become the mainstream, not just ‘innovative’ pilots.
