Published in News on 3 Sep 2019

On 25 September from 10.15am to 12.30pm, we'll host a HOW to get your message noticed workshop at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh.

This Hands-On-Workshop (HOW) is intended for anyone working in the social services sector.

It’s your chance to be creative for a morning, learning fresh techniques to last a lifetime.

Here are some of the things covered:

HOW to communicate with impact
HOW to make sure your messages are understood, and acted on
HOW to bring your ideas to life
HOW to add a sprinkling of memorable magic
HOW to grab your audience’s attention in a surprising way
HOW to write a brief

The session will be run by Andy Archer, Creative Adviser at Iriss, and Creative Advertising Lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University. Andy has over thirty years experience working as a creative in leading ad agencies, coming up with ideas for high-profile brands such as Heinz, IRN-BRU, Walker’s Snacks, ScottishPower, Bank of Scotland, Standard Life, The Herald and The Scotsman.

“Really thought provoking, inspiring and informative - like no other training I have ever been on.”

“Thank you very much for one of the most interesting events I’ve attended in the past year.”
