We've launched a new series of short papers on various social services approaches and procedures that give you simple definitions of what they are, why they are important, and how they can be used in practice.
Each paper features an insight from a practitioner involved in using the approach in their practice.
Our first three include:
- Safe and Together approach to tackling domestic abuse, with insight from Andrea Davidson, Team Leader in a Children’s Social Work Practice Team in North West Edinburgh.
- Recording practice in social work, with insight from Sharon Laing, Service Manager Corporate Parenting, East Ayrshire Council.
- Duty of candour with insight from Jackie Weston, Director of Care at Care Concern Group.
