Racism and discrimination in social work

Published in News on 9 Nov 2020

The Scottish Association of Social Workers (SASW), an independent professional membership organisation for social workers and social work students in Scotland, seeks the views of social workers in Scotland on what it can do to address racism, exclusion, discrimination, and oppression.

This initiative is part of SASW's response to the Black Lives Matter movement, and is aimed at social workers from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds. A survey has been created in conjunction with Toyin Adenugba and Laura Joya, both members of the group BAME Social Workers in Scotland.

Please complete the survey by 9 December.
