What is unique about rural social work?

Join us on Thursday, 10 December (1-2pm) for a webinar that will provide an opportunity to discuss the unique potential of rural social work, the opportunities it brings, and just why it is worthy of celebration. Taking account of issues arising from the pandemic, it offers another opportunity to revisit the presentations to the Celebrating Rural Social Work conference in March 2020 that outlined the basics about rural social work.

Speakers will include Jane Pye, a senior teaching associate from the University of Lancaster; and Colin Turbett, an island-based practitioner in Scotland for many years who has authored various published works, including the Iriss Insight, Rural social work in Scotland.
