The early findings of a research project exploring the impact of COVID-19 visiting restrictions on the relatives of care homes, have been published.
The study titled, Creative Covid Care, explores the creative methods used to encourage positive interaction between care home residents and their loved ones.
It was funded by the Chief Scientist Office of the Scottish Government in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The field work took place between May-October 2020. Partners include the University of Edinburgh, University of Strathclyde, The University of the West of Scotland and Iriss.
