Research Unbound

Research Unbound encourages researchers of all kinds, in academe or in practice, to share results, data, tentative findings etc. using simple, and often, free tools. It also aims to make research more accessible to and useable by practitioners. The idea is inspired by the Finch Report and the commitment to making publicly funded research freely available.

Blogging about what you're doing and what you've found can also be effective. For example, Discovering Desistance is an example of an ESRC funded project that used a blog to engage practitioners and stimulate discussion.

Dr Sarah Wilson's ESRC-funded research (Young People Creating Belonging: spaces, sounds and sights) into how young people who are looked after feel that they belong, or do not belong became the first research project to be published on Research Unbound.
