Supported decision making aims to protect a person’s ‘legal capacity’, or their right to have their will and preferences upheld.

The video is especially useful in highlighting the role that people in the community have in raising concerns. The particular context of this video is the cost-of-living crisis, which may make day-to-day decisions harder. This, in turn, can impact on people's ability to look after themselves or others around them.

This short animated video explains what sextortion is and what to do if you are a victim of it. It is designed to be shared with the public.

A video supporting Adult Support and Protection professionals to put adults and carers at the centre of their work. This is a 'bitesize' version of the full online learning resource, Working together in Adult Support and Protection.

This video sets out basic knowledge on hoarding behaviour. It looks at why and how people hoard, trauma, and how hoarding behaviour can run in families (including in children). It also includes material on the Clutter Rating Scale, which helps with assessing risk. The video stresses the need for time, multi-agency working, and professional curiosity to work effectively with people who hoard.
