Rural social work event. Save the date!

Published in News on 18 Dec 2019

The 11 March 2020 will be an opportunity to celebrate rural social work in Scotland, recognising how it's different and what it has to offer social work practice.

Iriss, in partnership with Dumfries and Galloway Council, Scottish Association of Social Work, Social Work Scotland, University of the West of Scotland and Lancaster University, will host this one-day event, which will be an exciting opportunity to share and learn from others with a common interest, and create new connections and (future) networks with a community that seldom gets to come together.

The event will be opened by Iona Colvin, Chief Social Work Advisor for Scotland.

Save the date in your diary now! Programme and booking details will be available in the new year.
