On Monday, 2 March we'll host a full-day event at the new Barracks venue in Stirling, which will focus on finding, producing and using evidence in social services. It'll take you on an exploration of resources, tools and ideas to support you make the most of evidence in your work setting.
There will be a mix of activities and workshops to choose from to suit your interests, from learning about evidence tools to peer learning about evidence into practice. As well as Iriss presentations and workshops, there will also be contributions from the SSSC, Audit Scotland and the Care Inspectorate.
The day is aimed at managers and practitioners in local authority, third or private sector social services (social work and social care) with an interest in using evidence to inform practice or service design. Whether you’ve got lots of evidence experience or it’s all quite new to you, we’re sure there’ll be something in the programme that will help to spark fresh ideas.
