The International Association of Schools of Social Work is co-ordinating a project to share stories of social work's contribution in the Coronavirus pandemic.
It will support everyone wishing to share their valuable experiences and unique social work practices from all corners of the world. Social work practitioners, educators, researchers and students are often the unsung heroes in any disaster and many in the profession have worked tirelessly, often at great risk to themselves given the lack of protective clothing, to safeguard human wellbeing, children and older people in this pandemic. There are lessons to be shared from every country that has been affected.
