We are working with West Dunbartonshire HSCP to refresh and revitalise the processes and frameworks that sit behind the care and support landscape in the area — with the overall aim of creating the conditions to increase real choice in Self-Directed Support.
There is already activity and progress being made so it’s an exciting time for Iriss to come alongside HSCP colleagues to support the development of an outcomes-focused approach in commissioning and procurement of social care in the area. Developing this approach will help to increase the contribution of data and learning about people’s choices and outcomes to future planning.
We’ll be running workshops to explore, imagine and shape what outcomes-focused contracting could look like for Adult Community Services and make the links with how this part of the system connects with day to day outcomes-focused practice in social care and support.
