Whether you like it or dislike it, social media is a way of communicating that's here to stay.

While there are challenging aspects of using social media in social services, the evidence suggests that it can be effective for improving practice. There is also more to social media than familiar social networking sites such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn.
