We've published four stories that beautifully illustrate what leadership looks like from ground level - and the difference it can make to the lives of people that are supported. They provide inspiration, and identify some of the challenges that those ‘at the top’ need to understand too.
The four storytellers - Lee, Jenna, Carolann and Claire - draw on their real work-based experiences, which they critically reflect upon as part of the innovative BA (Honours) Integrated Health and Social Care at the University of the West of Scotland.
This work contributes to a national programme on leadership led by the SSSC. If you want to explore this topic further, go to Step into Leadership where they identify six leadership capabilities. You can also explore this leadership logic model, which shows how leadership contributes to positive outcomes.
