This report describes an audit of current, recent and planned arrangements for enhancing the contribution of service users, carers and employers in the learning and assessment of social work students in Scotland.

In November 2003, as part of the Learning for Effective and Ethical Practice (LEEP) project funded by The Scottish Institute for Excellence in Social Work Education, the University of Edinburgh was commissioned to carry out a review of literature in relation to the integration of learning for practice.
