This guidance supports consistent and transparent decision-making in the ‘conversion rate’ from ASP referral to ASP inquiry by considering:
- what the Act and the Code of Practice state
- initial information-gathering activity
- quality assurance processes for ASP referrals that do not proceed to ASP inquiry
