PACS is a small charitable organisation based in Stirling that comprises parents, social workers and other professionals involved in adoption and long-term foster care. It offers a range of post placement support and services to adoptive families and permanent foster carers.
PACS receives a grant from Clackmannan, Falkirk and Stirling Councils to provide its services.

ScOPTbox is a curated collection of resources for social workers and others involved in supporting learning in the workplace in Scotland. It has been developed by the Scottish Organisation for Practice Teaching (ScOPT), and was launched at the ScOPT conference in Glasgow on 12 November.

Iriss teamed up with Glasgow Caledonian University, SSSC, the Scottish Association of Social Workers and the Scottish Government to find out. About 120 final year students as well as newly qualified social workers gathered at GCU on 22 January 2015 to share information and experience with aim of helping to shape the future direction of social work.

At the award ceremony Sandy was described as "skilled, courteous, ethical and effective" in working with people with mental health challenges.

How we made Liam's story
Liam Robertson is 20 years old and has autism. He has a passion for film, attends Scottish Youth Theatre, works part-time in a Barnardo's shop in Glasgow and would like to pursue a career in the theatre.

David Lettice is a social worker with East Renfrewshire Council. He became involved with Liam, a 20 year old man with autism, when his case was transferred from the transitions team to the integrated learning disability team, where David works.
